More straps are less desirable.- I've tried a few 8+ strapped garterbelts/girdles/corsets and have always found that any more than six straps is more trouble than a help. I have the Rago 6 strap waist cincher (#RA21-6B) which I love. The front closure with this type of garment is the only way to go since you can't spin this around your body like you can with a garterbelt.
