N 40s from Sock Dreams- These fit my scrawny ass legs fabulously without any bagging, sagging, or downward-creeping. They are *relatively* thick, so they provide great warmth, but not at all bulky. Since they are knit, they don't really give away the synthetic origins. But, the knit is relatively fine, which I guess is part of what makes them so non-bulky-yet-warm. After (hand) washing in hot water, they still have my 31" inseam completely covered. The boring colors could actually probably pass as respectable tights, for those who need to show their legs in boringly in the cold.
