A sliding lumbar support adjusts and conforms to your torso. (This is an element that is easy to overlook on either the original or the Active Carrier—don't! It makes all the difference to get that adjustment just right. And re-check it every time you put it on.) The extra support relieves stress on shoulders and back—don't think just because you're big and strong you won't feel the strain of carrying a 25-, 15- or even 8-pound baby around. The wide, cushioned and contoured shoulder straps evenly distribute baby's weight, and breathable mesh liner keeps you (and baby) cool and comfortable.
A size adjustment buckle allows the carrier to grow with baby, and the entire front piece is easily removed to lay down a sleeping beauty. A padded, adjustable head support lets younger infants face Mom or Dad, or folds down to allow an older baby to face forward. This carrier is truly adjustable—from a tiny parent to a huge one.
