Items on List: Expensive wish list

Notes: The most handsome retro-look luggage I've ever seen. Pricey, but so's Vuitton. If the site claims are accurate, you get what you pay for.

Notes: My Dad's home typewriter, the first "proper" (non-toy) one I ever wrote on. I added the extra $100 for Excellent grade. I don't want to think of the shipping charge.

Notes: The first typewriter I ever owned; a Christmas present from Mum & Dad. I did a lot of writing on this before going electric; it would be fun to own it again.

Notes: Like the one from Deutsche Optik, but fully refurbished and with an English keyboard. Pricier, though.

Notes: Not exactly cheap, but this will serve as a reminder of something sensible for wearing during a walk down to the village in wintertime. It gets dark out there!

Notes: This may be the parka for which the hi-vis parka shell is intended. Again, pricey for what you get. Why do all these things have such pointlessly butch names? Aggressor? It's just a coat!

Notes: Not so much a parka (no hood) as a bush jacket. Nice, though.

Notes: Navy Pea-Jacket style, like Chris Eccleston's as Doctor Who, and a bit dressier than a bomber jacket (see next item!) The brown version has an antique look I haven't made up my mind about: is it cool, or a costume?

Notes: Finding a jacket like this in black is a bit unusual (they have the more usual brown one as well.) However, flyingjackets.com (see below) have something very similar for less than half the price.

Notes: Another black leather jacket (rather than the usual brown); considerably cheaper than the one from the Junkers shop even as-is, and given the current crappy state of the US dollar, it's a bargain!

Notes: Something to replace the one left at Mum's house; I have others bookmarked elsewhere which will be added here in due course.

Notes: Like the Scribe's and Chandler's sets: just nice to have - and it might even get used for writing!

Notes: One of the better pen-drives I've seen. Only shipped within US/Canada, but there are ways round that. Price is for the 4Gb version, but goes as high as 8Gb. under Computing>Drives & Media

Notes: Can't be shipped outside the US, so an end-run is required. Under Gadgets>Lights & Lasers.

Notes: Interesting - this removes the need for a new flatbed just to handle slides/negatives. It runs on USB. Great! Under Computing>Sound & Video

Notes: Diane fancies this one, and I can't blame her. I just hope it works better than the Earspoon thing...

Notes: D has been talking about small laptops; this looks like a possible, though will need the add-on battery for sensible travel life. US shipping only. Under Computing>Sound & Video
Notes: This is really rather neat, and if it fits inside a Saddleback Leather case, so much the better!
