Very poor service at Barneys.com - be careful, or you'd miss your great day: This is the first time ever in my life writing a poor review for a company. Their service was poor, I did gave them a second chance but things turned out the same way. My recommendation is don't buy from them. I will tell you my story and you decide for yourself whether you'd buy from the barneys.com.

I and my girlfriend looked for a miu miu bag, from many online stores. The model we wanted was sold out so fast on other webs. There were only two left at Barneys.com. After I saw the stock deplete, and only one left, I decided to buy it at full price. The first order was before X'mas'07. They sent a mail to confirm my order (system generated). I waited till after X'Mas only to find that my order was cancelled. Another mail came (system generated again.. I think), saying that the item sold very well, they were sorry, they'd credit back my card, and asked me to keep checking their site.

I wrote a few complaint mails about why their systems won't check the stock before accept my credit card !! .. for almost two weeks .. there were no reply .. worse .. I still get those advertising mail from them .. and you bet .. all are system generated .. I guessed.

However, I kept checking the site. A few days later, the stock came back for 3 items. I ordered again on 27th December 2007 .. as expected .. the status shown "prepare for shipment" until it changed to "cancelled" today, 3rd Jan 2008. This time, there was not even a mail to tell me what happened to my order.

I have to admit that I'm so unsattisfied for their service. The customer service never reply and there was no other channel to contact their management. If anyone know how could I contact their management, please let me know, or let them know how poor they are doing.
