ChineseMoods is a rip off- I had received my purchase July 30/09 and contacted the seller the same day to let them know that there was a discrepancy in the size. I told them my measurements compared to their chart and how their chart was incorrect. I received an email July 31/09 stating that I could either keep the item and they charge me an additional $47USD and resend me another one or I can send it back for $32USD (shipping cost) + $10USD (restock fee). I sent them an email July 31/09 quoting their website stating that they would cover all shipping and restocking fees if the return was a result of their mistake, to which they have not responded.
It is now August 05/09 and after a 2nd email attempt for the RA# , there is still no response. They state that I have to file a claim within 10 days of receiving the goods, but I require the RA# to file the claim. I had ordered a Large Gown. According to their size chart, garments will be 1-2 inches bigger than the net size displayed. I have chest of 43in and a waist of 41in. According to their size chart, a Large chest size ranges from39-43in, so the actual size should be 44-45in. A Large waist size ranges from 41- 45in, so the actual size should be 46-47in. The size I received was 44in for the chest and 40in for the waist. Even the medium in the chart has a net size from 37-41in meaning it should be 42-43in. It would appear that they skimped on materials as well as there is also a 1.5 gap between the ends of where the gown is suppose to meet up. Men's Chinese Long Gowns are supposed to overlap by a few inches, but there's no way it will overlap. I explained all this to them and that by sending an item of clothing with measurements that are different from what their website states, that it is their mistake, but they won't acknowledge this and won't provide me with the RA# I need to make the claim. They appear to be trying to draw out the time past their 10 day (not business days) claim policy for a return so that I cannot make the claim. They later tell me they will resend me another one for free, but I declined because it will take too long for me to get it since I needed it one week's time. They keep asking me for my measurements so they can resend me another long gown. I have explained that I needed it in one week (August 15/09) and that it will take at least 3 weeks to get to me. But all they keep responding with is an email to provide my measurements and they won't give me the RA#. I told them I want to send the item back to them and once they receive it, they can reimburse me. They, for some reason, don't find this fair and won't allow me to return the item
