Unbelievably bad bad bad. Be warned, Be wary.- Horrible customer service. Defective items. Deceptive website. They don't even stock most of the items on their website, THEY DROPSHIP THEM FROM OTHER COMPANIES. That's why they discourage anything but online ordering. If you get a defective product, good luck getting a resolution.
I have NEVER EVER NOT ONCE had a successful return or rma of an item with this company, they always find a way to get out of it, or deflect accountability.
wise up people, most of these good reviews kind of sound the same don't they? Because they're bogus reviews.
Avoid this outfit at all costs.
I recently discovered they jipped me on an old order, and shipped me a 2gb ram kit instead of 4gb. I didn't notice because it wasn't the only thing I ordered, and I had a lot of projects running at the time. So it was after 30 days when I called.
I called and told them I didn't want to return it or anything like that, I just wanted the other half of my order.
The guy on the phone called me stupid for not noticing sooner and told me if I was a smart educated buyer I would have noticed their mistake sooner... I told him he sounded neither smart nor educated himself. He said he had an electrical engineering degree. I said I didn't see how an electrical engineer would be working telephone customer service for directron.
At which point he called me "a stupid bastard" and hung up.
Don't take my word for it, look them up at the better business bureau website for houston tx. They get a very generous B- rating with most of their issues in the "returns/exchanges" category.
