BEWARE THIS COMPANY! FAULTY GOODS-TERRIBLE SERVICE: My husband and I bought 2 bikes from the company, were lied to about when they would arrive. Finally one bike arrived, one did not, it was apparently lost. When a replacement was sent out its handlebars were bent.The discountbicycles.co.uk initially said that if we sent pictures they would immediately send a replacement.On recieving the pictures they refused to answer our emails and were not contactable for 3 days by phone. Eventually they offered to send a new handle bar but we would have to get it fitted ourselves or bring the bicycle back to their shop ourselves to have it fitted. Neither of these options were fair and we still have a broken bike that cost close to £200.

Do not use this company..!! They are rip-off merchants: I phoned this company at the start of December to ask if they could guarentee Xmas delivery if I placed an online order - they said "yes of course". I then order 4 bicycles. When the date for their estimated delivery passed I phoned them again and they hadn't actually process the order. They agreed to dispatch on "next day delivery" via their courier - which they didn't do. When I called them to ask if they could chase it up the person I spoke to (and I was being very reasonable about it) wouldn't let me speak, said it's Christmas, it's not my fault that you placed a late order (!!), there's only one of me here and then hung up on me..!!!

I'm now waiting to see if my "guarenteed" Christmas order will now arrive in time or if my kids will be let down. Extremely poor organisation compounded by the attitute of the guy on the telephone. Their concept of Customer Service is to shout at people and then hang up. The guy is lucky that I don't live locally because I have now simmered down just enough.

I would never recommend that anyone use this company.
