exoticphone-quick and fine customer service that I experienced!! - I called exoticphone.com at 7:30 pm back on 7 September, 2007. I was looking for some phones for my daughters and their price is quite good. I knew it was already late to place an order asking for overnight shipment. But then again i did call and spoke with a rep named Jason and placed an order for 2 cell phones.
The guy asked for the copies of my credit card and driver's license as the transaction was quite handsome one. He advised me to use my digital camera and to shoot my credit card and driver's license and to mail those to him which took only 5 minutes.
The cut-off time was 8 pm. So within 20 minutes the order was placed, papers were forwarded and at last the phones were shipped out. And guess what? I received the phones on next day and my daughters were happy as they were promised. It really amazed me how fast and customer-friendly a service could be.
This is best customer service-ever. I would definitely recommend exoticphone.com to you guys to experience the difference.

Exoticphone.com- Exoticphone.com, I have visited their Manhattan location on 1170 Broadway. I always buy from them. Their price is pretty cheap. Sometimes I'm surprised by their prices. Good people too. THanks..Jahid.
exoticphone is a total scam- I cant believe a sinlge word of the above reviews. For sure this is done by some1 from that website. I bought a cell phone from them 3 months before. The phone was open box and it wasnt able to read any kind of micro sd card. for exchange i went to their pickup location. i asked them to change it to a new one. they said it wasnt in stock so they will fix the problem. they keep the phone with them and ask me to come back after a week. when i went back there they said the phone is fixed and gave it back to me. to make sure i tried infront of them with a micro sd card and it was the same shit. they said my card was defective. so i asked them to show me if it was working with a card from their store. they tried with another card and still it wasnt working. I was really pissed off by their lies. they knew it very well that the phone's cad slot wasnt working but first they want to return me the phone saying the problem was fixed and secondly they said my card was defective. When i asked for a new phone or a refund they said the 7 days from purcahse is over so they cant do any exchange or refund any more. after arguing for more than hours they agreed for a refund with a penalty of 15% for the restocking fee. They said it wasnt any major defect for a phone so they will not accept it as a defective item. so i had to be happy with the 85% of the real price.
This is my story. now i wanna tell something about them. If you go to their pick up location you will loose all the interest to buy a phone from them. its a small massy and dirty place in a small room at 11th floor. The attitude of the people there is worst. they dont know anything about customer service or satisfaction. And they are big liars too. They are cople of friends from Bangladesh running that business. Whenever they pickup a phone they said their name as BILL or JAY and talk as a manager. I myself is from India and i had a good idea about Bangladesh. there are know such name as Bill or JAy there. LIARS. I know its not a big deal but why should people lie for nothing???? check the comment here by Mr. MIE THOMPSON at oct 12.. at the end of his comment he said ""THanks..Jahid"" JAHID is a very common muslim name in BANGLADESH or PAKISTAN or even in India. Some1 from them is writting all this reviews to advertise for their store or webstite. Full of SCAMMERS
After visiting their place i guess they dont have any stock or anything. Whenever they get an order they went to a nearby store or place to get that phone. it happened in front of me couple of times.
Sorry for my bad English and the long review. I had my worst customer service experience in USA by exoticphone.

Any way fans, I have been to exoticphone.com's location. Thier information can be found on their website. Pretty good company. I have received the phone within two days as promised. I was pleased because they shipped it the same day and gave me $15 discount. I would definitely do Christmas Shopping with them. I shop around a lot, I think they have pretty good prices on cellphones.

I'm one of the X employee of exoticphone. I have leave this company with a great Pain. Mr. Jahidulllah fire me within 1 day although there was the terms that he must inform me at least 1 month before.

The owner, Jahidullah, cell-347-952-1013, is an Asian. Age 25, exoticphone customer know him as Jay. And there is a another owner, Arif Billah. He is almost mad. His age is 26. the exoticphone customer know him as Bill.
They sale copy phones (Chinese), Refurbish, defective, scratch phones. Although, customer pay them for Brand new original equipment manufacturer and they tell the customers that they only sale brand new phones. they lie to customers. They do not have warehouse. When the customer order them and pay over credit card they buy from the wholesaler name national phone located in Manhattan, new york.
If u ordered for 10 phones, they shipped u 2 refurbish, 3 defective, 3 copy, and 2 original. more over, they also send wrong color phones. if u ordered for pink they will send u black because black is cheaper than pink color.
they earn money over shipping. they charge extra 20 to 30 dollar for shipping. And they never ship the product timely. Some time they ship ground to make much profit though customer pay them for 2nd day.
There are many incidences of wholesales customers and i am a burning witness. they do not ship wold wide but if any overseas customer call them and want to place the order for his country they accept his order an ask the customer to wear the money ASAP. When they got the money they do no ship the product. There are lots of example in exoticphone history. Last time a German customer lost his $3000 and exoticphone never refund his money. he called them 100 times even cried to refund but they did not. this is one of the horrible history of exoticphone overseas customers.
Some time they change their bank not to refund to the customer money. I think , there are few hundred customers whose refund is still pending in their system.
They have only one web master only who take care the whole web site.
They use PHP open source oscommerce old version which is insecure for the customer because its easy to Huck the site and take the customers credit card information. If you browse their site u will see that their site is offline. though they r saying a bit for maintenance. they are lair.
They do not pay their employees properly and timely. most of the employees are up set on them. They fire people within 1 day notice. and do not pay their salary at the end of their jobs.
Before you buy from exoticphone com ,please be confirmed that you are in the right place. u can lost your money and your credit card information and it can go in the hand of Hackers.

- I have been buying from this company from years and have no problem with them at all. Their customer service is great and they are very helpful,infact I have recommended all my family and friends to buy from them.For those of you working in Manhatan you have the option of picking up your phone from their office. They go out of their way to accomadate you-one friend called them to place an order 30 minutes before they were closing and he recieved the phone the next day just as promised.
It seems to me the people who wrote the negative reviews have serious personal issues with the owners-if you have the chance to visit their office you will see for yourself how organized they are. They were very polite and helpful and always take the time to answer all your questions.
I always use my credit card when purchasing from them and have never had any problems,it is very secure and actually it seems more secure than other sites I visited.
My family who live overseas have also purchased phones from them and were surprised at how quick and efficient their service was.

Exoticphone.com sales refurbish phones. I have ordered a Samsung SGH-F480 Tocco (overnight shipment). I received a refurbish phone after 10 days. If u call them, they talk nicely but never solve problem.
After two weeks, someone order a laptop $1,129.99 using my credit card. I was amazed when I got the call from bank.

More importantly, all the positive post here in this forum are posted my Exoticphone.com owner. When you post a negative thread immediately they post another positive thread to make the customer understand that they are running this business honestly.

- Well im out here simply because im a satisfied customer of exoticphone.com. I placed an order with them last week for a K800i, I placed the order for ground shipping which is 5-7 business days. I didn't receive the package in due time so I called them up and they told me that they haven't shipped it, simply because it was out of stock, they didn't have the color I wanted. I got totally pissed off. I became angry like hell but l really needed the phone, I asked what colors they have, they said that they have the brown, I told them to ship that. You are not going to believe what they did, they shipped it over night for me and also gave me a free car charger.
Im not going to give them a 5 star but they definitely do deserve to have a 3Star.
Lastly before I leave, I'd like to say that, ExoticPhone is doing a good job although sometimes they mess up but later on they make it up to the customer some how.
