DO NOT BUY- I would never buy from the Laundry Alternative again. The company could not care less about the environment and is simply trying to make a quick buck by convincing people they need to spend money on products that really don't do much. I can do my laundry in the kitchen sink with just about the same about of work as using the wonder wash and spin dryer, and my clothes come out cleaner. The customer service is the absolute worst. So unprofessional and unhelpful.
Don't expect customer service by phone, but an email will get you an answer in 5 minutes.- I bought a washer and a small spin dryer. Shipping time was a bit slow, although only one week later than they had originally promised.
The products: I love them!! I do all of my household laundry with the WonderWash and dryer (2 adults who work full-time and a baby), and I don't see how I could do everything in a sink. Besides, there's NO way I could get the same cleaning and extracting results in a sink!!! This machine truly deserves the name "WONDERwash", and the spinner leaves your clothes in their original shape and barely damp. After trying a few things, I found that what works best for me is to wash for two minutes, drain quickly, put some water back with softener, rinse for one minute, then give a very quick last rinse in the sink before spinning. For less or the same amount of time, I don't have to make the tedious trip to the laundromat. I use much less soap and money, and it cleans much better. I couldn't believe my eyes when a dry bluberry stain I was too lazy to pretreat was removed effortlessly.
So, after a few weeks, with my luck, I discovered that my WonderWash was defective. I tried to contact the store by phone repeatedly, at no avail, and got very irritated. I proceeded to emailing them, and received an email back within 5 minutes, and the following week I had my replacement unit free of charge. Customer service is not quite into greeting you and chit-chatting, I must say, but they do go straight to the point and do their job.

- RE: the first poster: we offer a product which is 100 times more energy-efficient than a tumble dryer, but we somehow "don't care" about the environment? There are millions of spin dryers sold throughout the world per year, but somehow it is something that people don't need? We certainly are not perfect, but we are 100% pro-environment and not out to make a quick buck. We actually don't sell some products, such as laundry balls, because they are bogus, even though we could make quite a bit selling them. We read all customer emails and have a very good idea of what we do well, and what needs to be improved.
It would be nice if people would contact us and get the real story sometimes, before jumping to false conclusions. We are pretty open and honest about our shortcomings, call or email us anytime.
Improvements Still coming- I now work for the Laundry Alternative and I can tell you that I answer every email and phone call with-in 24hrs. I actually come in most days and have no voicemails at all because the Customer Service is being taken care of in a way that most companies don't offer any longer. We listen to customer concerns and requests and we try to resolve any and all issues right away. We might ask you to do some trouble shooting for us, but that is the most that we ask of you as a consumer. If you had doubts in the past give us another try and I can almost guarantee you that it will be a memerable experience.
