Good Selection of European toys but HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE: I placed an order on 12/8. The website states that they ship next business day and according to the UPS chart I should have received my items within 3 days. I called to get a tracking number on 12/17. It took my 5 tries to get through to someone and I was told they would call me back with a tracking number. They never did. I did receive my order on 12/18 but it was incomplete, I was missing an item that I was charged for and that the packing slip indicated was included in the package. I tried to call all day to speak with someone but kept getting their voice mail (they do not have an email address to contact). I left a message but never heard back. I called again on 12/19 and finally spoke with someone. I was informed that the item I ordered was not in stock and that they would refund me. When I asked why it indicated that it shipped they said that they held the order to wait on it but it never arrived. When I asked why they didn't have better inventory control they said that the item was in stock when they took my order but not when it shipped. They offered no substitutions and did not help at all in offering alternative suggestions. When I mentioned that it was going to be impossible for me to find a similar item so close to Christmas (this was to be a gift for my son) she said "Oh well". I understand that there are occasional problems with stock but the customer service that I received was unacceptable. The fact that they charged me for an item that they did not ship is unacceptable. The fact that I wasn't contacted as soon as they knew it was out of stock is unacceptable. And the fact that they didn't process my refund until after I called and complained is unacceptable.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE MAUKILO.COM....: It has been 2 years since this previous review was written. I know for a fact since I buy from maukilo.com frequently that they are very good at customer service. I had a problem with my order as well, UPS had shipped the order to the wrong address. They re-packed my order and expressed it to me without any charge. I find the website to be wonderful and user friendly. You must know when you place an order on-line you should read and educate yourself with ALL of the policies and disclaimers of that website.
The problem that I can see is that, not really a problem at all... At Christmas time websites do run low or run out of products, some can substitute products and others can not, so I would highly recommend maukilo.com , So to sum up... Do Not wait till the last minute to place an order that is of high importance... plan ahead.
