A friendly warning about Meschantes- DO NOT ORDER FROM MESCHANTES!!! They basically robbed me. It took forever to get the corset (way longer than what they said) and they refused to communicate with me, when I started asking about where it was. Then, when I finally received it, it was the wrong color/fabric. When I complained about it (for two weeks), they said to send it back, and that they would exchange it for the right color, and refund my shipping cost. STILL NOTHING. It's way past the time for filing disputes with paypal, and they were stringing me along with false promises on fixing the problem and now.... NOTHING. I call and call, and they don't answer the phone, and they don't call me back.

Have had three great experiences with them- I have ordered from Meschantes three times and I have always been happy with my purchases. I have heard many complaints about Meschantes and I wanted to provide an alternative view. I have had great success when ordering through eBay; most of the negative stories I have heard have been about direct orders. You can get fully custom corsets through eBay, just look for the auctions that mention they are fully custom. If you like a style that they're offering without a busk, they will add a busk for an additional charge. All three corsets I have had from them (one standard and two custom) have come within the time they said it would, and they have always been very responsive to e-mails. The two custom corsets I have fit GREAT and I have been very happy with all of my Meschantes corsets.
Best quality - best fit corsets- I have ordered five corsets over the past three years from Meschantes, and they are wonderful! I am a tailor myself, and grew up in Europe where there are many custom corset makers, but I have seldom seen the level of quality and workmanship that I have found in Merchantes. The measurements are exact, the fabric is lovely, and the care in which the boning is covered (you don't want those steel bones poking you!), is amazing. These are serious corsets which will fit and make you feel marvelous and oh-so-beautiful. Most importantly, they are one of the few makers of a serious training corset which you wear day and night to whittle down your waist and make it stay small even without the corset.
I am shocked by the negative feedback listed on the site for this company because I have never received anything but the most professional service from them - good communication, good price, and they deliver what they promise and then some.

- Had a custom corset made by Meschantes for my wedding, cost a huge amount of money...to make a long story short, it didn't fit at all, and Meschantes ignored all of my attempts to communicate with them to get the problem fixed. Meschantes lied to Paypal after I filed a claim against them in order to keep their money. I got screwed.
