Nice products but poor customer service.- When I first saw this company on-line I was overjoyed to find what finally promised to be the perfect products for the eco-lifestyle. However, they ended up sending me ALL the WRONG items--styles and sizes that I did not order, AND then patently REFUSED to REFUND my return shipping EXPENSES (which are considerable to Canada)! All appeals for refund have been met with stonewall silence. The entire experience left me VERY UNHAPPY!
The products--should you get what you actually ordered--seem to be great. But I DO NOT RECOMMEND RAWGANIQUE.COM for their customer service skills.

Positive people & promises, but NIGHTMARE products and customer DIS-service! - My experience with Rawganique was certainly unique. I normally would not spend the time to write a review, but I thought I had a duty to prevent other shoppers from the nightmarish experience I endured with Rawganique. The people that work at Rawganique seem genuinely well-intentioned, but sadly incompetent at customer service. Their products also seem well-intentioned with lofty and convincing promises, but the products I ordered literally fell apart! Even as a veteran online shopper, I briefly and naively submitted to the belief that you get what you pay for (and Rawganique charges premium prices!) Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that a 100% satisfaction guarantee is worth it's weight in gold. Before you order from Rawganique, read their policies and then determine if your hard-earned money and time are worth the gamble.
- Poor quality flannel sheets
- I ordered for the first, and last, time from this company. I bought their brand of organic flannel sheets and after only three washings the fitted sheet had almost no soft flannel left on it. I called and spoke with customer service and was told to return them, at my expense, for them to check and then give me a refund. Well I returned them, and after several attempts to reach them after the package arrived there, I finally spoke with someone and now they are only offering a 90% refund, I am responsible for all shipping costs, and furthermore was told that the owners could see no defect in the sheets. I again mentioned the terrible thinness of the sheets, and the fact that almost all of the flannel has come off of them after only three washings, but the person who I finally got to speak to was not one of the owners and was only passing on the decision that was made. I am awfully disappointed with this company and I strongly recommend not shopping with them. What they say to you before you buy does not correspond with what happens after you buy if there is a problem. Before I ordered I called to ask about the quality and weight of their sheets and was assured that they were of the highest quality and backed by a guarantee. I also was assured that if a I received a defective product from them that they would stand behind their products and fully refund the purchase price plus shipping costs if there was a problem. Well in my case unfortunately there was a problem, but their answer to that was to simply say they saw no problem and therefore only refund me a part of what I paid and none of the hefty shipping costs associated with the order. I would not recommend anyone dealing with this company. Surely there are other companies out there that sell good quality organic cotton products, but this is not one of them.
- Durable pants
- I wasn't excited about paying over $100 for pants, especially when they arrived a size too large. But these organic cotton corduroy pants have held up very very well. I climb trees & boulders, hop barbed wire fences, and in general don't treat the pants with much care. And yet they barely have a mark on them.
- Avoid Rawganique
- Rawganique's website looked great, but the customer service is horrible.

* Impatient customer service that puts you on hold frequently (and doesn't remember who you are)
* Complains about the lack of staff
Rawganique argues that they are exemplary. I've ordered from large mail order companies and small ones. Rawganique is the first arrogant business, in my experience, that is unwilling to listen to customers. There are plenty of other organic clothing companies out there that provide better service. Rawganique truly gives "organic" a bad name. Avoid this company and spend your money elsewhere. If you can't find a nice company, just order from LL Bean where the customer service is excellent!
- Deceptive company, be wary
- This website seemed too good to be true, and it was. I ordered a high end organic futon mattress in mid March and was told it should arrive in 2-4 weeks. On the third week I sent an email to check the status of my order. After several ignored emails to the company I called their number. No one answered and I was prompted to leave a message. Over the course of a week I left 2 messages and was never notified back. After many calls I was finally able to get a hold of a person. The women I spoke with was trite and seemed annoyed at me for bothering her. She was unable to provide any information at the time but promised to call me back the next day. Several days later I called HER back. Again, she was very short with me said the mattress should arrive in a week. Six weeks after I placed my order, it finally arrived. I've had the mattress for 6 months and I'm very unsatisfied. There's a huge dent in the center which makes sleeping on it very uncomfortable. For $500 I expected much more but all i got was grief and a lousy futon.
- Declining quality, poor service
- We had bought 2 linen towels from Rawganique some years back and have been using them extensively ever since. We were very happy with their quality and decided to buy a two more. Curious about the hemp towels they offer, we added a pair of these to our order as well, expecting the same quality we had enjoyed in our earlier purchase. Since our old towels have lost some of the 'hefty and lucious (as described on rawganique.com)' feeling we were eager to experience this again in our new towels but were deeply dissappointed, as they do not come close to the old ones in terms of 'heftyness' especially not the hemp ones. They are obviously much lighter. Out of curiosity, I weighed them on my kitchen scale. The linen towels weighed about 630g and the hemp ones 530g!!! On rawganique.com, they are advertised as "a hefty & luscious 720 grams per square meter" These are bath towels, 30" by 50" which is very close to one square meter so one would expect their weight to be 695 - 700g based on this statement. The linen towels are off by 10% and the hemp ones almost 25%. They are in no way hefty or lucious but feel lighter than a cheap cotton towel bought in a supermarket. The hemp towels are so much lighter than advertised that it can only be called product fraud!
In addition to our dissatisfaction with the towels, it took rawganique.com 4 months to get them to us, did not answer e-mails inquiring about the shipment and failed to mention that one item was still on backorder when shipment was finally made.
They did offer us a refund should we return the towels, but were not ready to cover shipping expenses, and shipping from our home in Iceland would have been too expensive to be practical for us.
An e-mail reply with a vague hint of some form for compensation was the only thing we got from them until we pushed the issue in a phone call. and they finally offered a 15% discount which is laughable considering the poor product quality.
Sadly, we can only recommend avoiding rawganique.com
