Fine until there was a problem!- Quick delivery and goods mostly fine but issue with one item regarding quality and damage to finish. Customer service lacking to say the least and refused to replace or refund without customer paying for return costs. The following advice from Trading Standards was passed onto the customer service department:
From your own civil point of view, you may have a claim for a breach of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 as amended. This legislation states that goods supplied by businesses must be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. This means that they must be safe, free from minor defects, durable, amongst other things. Where this is not the case, the seller of the goods can be held in breach of contract and may have to offer a remedy to the consumer. If you have had the item for a fairly short time, it may be possible to argue for a full refund, as you may not have had the goods for a long enough period of time to be deemed to have ‘accepted’ them in the eyes of the law.
Shineyshack have since refused to discuss the complaint further.

Shinyshack save Christmas- I don't normally do reviews, but I had to in this case. I was very disorganised this year, leaving xmas shopping to the last minute. I placed an order on Shinyshack on the 23rd Dec, which included xmas presents for everyone. I was a little nervous it wouldn't arrive on time, having put all my eggs in the one basket so to speak.
But it did arrive exactly on time on xmas eve, and I was able to give everyone their presents. All the products were lovely, and the fast delivery really got me out of a tight spot. Thank you Shinyshack, you have one very happy customer.
Very Reliable, Good Service.- I am only writing because I completely disagree with the first review.
I have used Shinyshack 7 or 8 times now and the goods have arrived very quickly every time.
The main reason I disagree with review 1 is that on one order, there was an item missing. So, I called their customer services line, and they did an immediate stock check, found they had one too many, and shipped it out for the next morning!
Oh, and their jelly beans are lovely :)

- I always use shinyshack.com now because they deliver really quick and have never had no problems. Highly reccomended.
Not great- I used them a few times with no problem but just before Christmas had a damaged item - they agreed to take it back but like the guy in first review had to pay myself to return item - not worth it so did not bother. Perhaps it is all down to the person you get at the other end?

- My wife bought a load of stuff from them - one item damaged which they refused to replace saying we caused the damage ourselves!!!! Another item (small handy knife like thing) fell to bits because a screw fell out - reason being the knife should have had a screw thread cut into it but it had not been done. Another item (Newtons cradle) broke on first use - because the glue had not properly stuck. We might have just been unlucky but I would not touch them with a bargepole now.
