Worst place to buy on-line- Skates.com is not a good place to buy. They brag about being a client driven store, but the truth is that once you buy something through their web site, everything changes. They have the worst service I've ever seen. When I asked for an exchange (the size was wrong and I didn't blame them for that, they just ignored me), they refuse to change for another pair of skates, besides they wanted me to pay for sending back the package to them (that by the way, they put the wrong adress from the begining and was lost for some time). They told me that all that they can do was a refund but I still have to pay for the delivery. (in not a very good manner). The way they treat you is terrible, they don't have any idea how to deal with clients. So, I definitely DON'T recomend you this store. Avoid buying here unless you are willing to deal with bad manners.

- This place is a joke. It has been over one month from my order date. They emailed me once to tell me the skates were not in stock. I replied and asked for a shipping date, or any updates, they did not return one email (they were not angry emails) then they processed false shipping (electronic shipping) only to make it look like my order was shipped, but USPS did not receive the items (back order shipping) they did this to buy time so it looked like the item was shipped. I asked for them to put a rush on it - they did not reply. I emailed Lee Cole (CEO of Skates.com) never one reply. I'm still waiting for my skates. I think I'm going to contact my Mastercard for a charge back. Stay away fro skates.com

Timely shipping however poor customer service after the sale. Call the new sales line to get help. It is buried under the help link in the corner of the page.
If the skates don't fit, they will take them back. BUT...You WILL PAY shipping, you WILL PAY restocking and there on NO EXCHANGES. You will have to ORDER AGAIN, pay shipping if applicable, and wait an additional 3-4 weeks. If the size you need is not available, any discounts for shipping is not transferable to a different skate.
I ended up paying $35 to get NOTHING. BUYER BEWARE BUY LOCAL!!

- Please don't buy from here. I got mine
with the wrong size, the box reads the correct size
but the actual skates are smaller. Ok, manufacturer's fault. They don't reply fast enough
to your e-mail, hold you long on the phone and don't explain in details the return procedures.
Pls save yourself from headaches. Go somewhere else.....
